T.M.I

I recently rediscovered my love for the US version of The Office.

Aside from the carbon-copy of the 1st episode of the UK series, it really is a very different series from Gervais/Merchant's work.

It does tread far-fetched waters at points and strays away from Mockumentaryville in places, but it's awesome.

One of the best things about this version is that whereas in the UK version the focus was almost entirely on Brent, Tim, Dawn, Gareth; the US show uses ALL of the employees of Dunder Mifflin to the fullest.

I do like the UK show (despite despising Gervais and his recent attitudes, especially towards UK comedy) but this is just perfection.

You know your life needs a change of direction...

...when you notice Pringle-crumbs falling from your mouth while singing 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' and they go into your can of European lager at two in the afternoon.

Gears Of War 2

...Is the first game I've bought in ages where you're thinking about it loads when you're not playing it. I've not had that since Resident Evil 4. I actually can't wait to play it when I finish work. I feel like a little boy who has been promised TWO mini-milks if he finished his sprouts.

bang, bang, bang, guns, guns, guns.

Lux Interior R.I.P

I'll write something when I'm not so gutted. Let it be known that he and his incredible band made the world of music a better and dirtier place.
